Where the name "HAINA" comes from

It means that the sea becomes so vast and abundant precisely because it accepts countless rivers. Japan has long exchanged with a wide range of countries and regions across the sea, and in recent years, grassroots exchange across borders — through overseas business expansion, employment, travel, and study abroad — has grown increasingly active.

I believe that the people we meet through running HAINA are each like a river, flowing in its own distinct way. Just as the sea accepts countless branching rivers and grows vast in turn, we wanted to build a place that welcomes people of different personalities, cultures, and values, understands them, and creates new connections between them. That is why we founded HAINA.

Guided by the idea of "the sea accepting a hundred rivers," HAINA aims to grow together with a diverse range of people. Without limiting that circle to any particular country or region, we want to embrace people from around the world and contribute to mutual understanding and the creation of new value. That is the wish carried in the name "HAINA."
